Establishment of Drone Veda

Drone Veda Technologies (OPC) Private Limited was established with the vision of building an Indian, technology-driven ecosystem around drones combining drone technology, intelligent software, education, and real-world applications.

The idea began taking shape in 2024, during the founder’s exposure to the aerospace and drone industry, competitions, workshops, and hands-on projects. Over time, the focus evolved from simply working with drones to creating a platform that could make drone technology more accessible, practical, and application-oriented.

Drone Veda was formally launched in 2026, with an initial focus on drone education and technology services, while gradually developing toward indigenous drone systems, autonomous technologies, and software solutions.

Origin of the name “Drone Veda”

The name Drone Veda combines two ideas: Drone representing the technology, aircraft, autonomy, and rapidly evolving unmanned systems industry, and Veda derived from the Sanskrit word associated with knowledge, wisdom, and a body of learning.

Together, “Drone Veda” represents the idea of knowledge applied to drone technology understanding drones not merely as flying machines, but as a combination of engineering, intelligence, software, data, and applications.

The name also reflects the broader vision of building Indian knowledge and innovation in the drone ecosystem, which connects with the company’s philosophy of “Indian Brain in Drones.”
